Resilience is a concept that is very important and frequently emphasized in today’s world. It is an ability that enables individuals to overcome difficulties in life, to cope with difficult events and situations, and is a capacity that enables recovery. While resilience is important for every individual, it is also remarkable for university students. Compared to previous years, the university period is a process that usually includes greater changes and/or difficulties and requires higher resilience for the individual. In this context, the study aims to determine the resilience levels of university students and to determine whether resilience differs in terms of various variables. For this purpose, the research was carried out with the participation of 478 students from a foundation university in Istanbul. Data were collected by survey method. SPSS program was used to process and analyze the data. The results of the study show that the students’ level of resilience is above the average, and the level of resilience differs in terms of age, gender, faculty/school/institute, working status and parental attitude. It is thought that the study will contribute to the students of the relevant University, University administration, parents, existing and/or potential businesses in terms of gaining knowledge and awareness about resilience and focusing on the studies that need to be done to strengthen resilience.
