THE EFFECT OF ORGANIZATIONAL READINESS AND INNOVATIVENESS ON DIGITAL CHANGE

Digitalization, which has influenced the whole world with the emergence and development of digital technologies, has made an inevitable change necessary for firms. Digital change requires a radical transformation in all activities of firms, in the way they create value, in customer relations and in business models. But while digital change has many advantages, it also has a risky, complex and costly process. Therefore, the issue of how a successful digital change can be realized and which factors are effective for implementation has become a topic of interest for both researchers and managers. In this direction, the aim of the study is to examine the relationships between organizational readiness, innovativeness and digital change. Within the scope of the research, data were obtained from 233 people working in managerial positions in firms operating in the manufacturing sector in Kocaeli, by survey method. As a result of the analyzes carried out, it has been determined that organizational readiness is positively related to both innovativeness and digital change, and there is a positive relationship between innovativeness and digital change.
