Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- The main title should be written in Times New Roman, capital letters, 12-point capital letters, 12-point font, centered, 12 inches before and 6 inches after the title, with multiple line spacing of 1.15. The abstract should be written as a single paragraph, 9-point font, single-spaced, justified, and should not be less than 100 words or more than 300 words. Keywords should be 3-5 keywords, single-spaced, 9-point font, justified. JEL code(s) of the study, it is possible to include more than one jel code depending on the nature of the study. The introduction should be written with the first level of the title in bold, justified and in capital letters, Times New Roman, 11 point, with a 12-inch space before the title and a 6-inch space after it. The first level heading should be written in bold, justified, capital letters, Times New Roman, 11 point font, without indentation, with a 12-inch space before the heading and a 6-inch space after it. The first letter of each word in the second-level subheading is written in capital, bold and justified. Times New Roman, 11 point, no indentation, 12 inches before the title and 6 inches after it. The first letter of each word of the third level subheading is written in capital, bold and justified. It should be Times New Roman, 11 point, unindented, with 12 inches of space before the title and 6 inches after it. Titles should be above the table, with the first letter capitalized. Figures and titles should be written above the title, with the first letter of each word in capital letters, bold, 11 point, centered, with 12 inch line spacing before the title and 6 inches after it. References must be in APA 6 format.
- The name(s) of author(s) should be given just beneath the title of the study aligned to the left. Also the affiliation, title, e-mail and phone of the author(s) must be indicated on the bottom of the page as a footnote marked with an asterisk (*).
- Submitted manuscripts in English must have before the introduction section, the abstract in English, between 180 and 200 words, summarizing the scope, the purpose, the results of the study and the methodology used. Underneath the abstracts, 3 to 5 keywords that inform the reader about the content of the study should be specified in English.
- The manuscripts should contain mainly these components: title, abstract and keywords; extended abstract, body text with sections, footnotes and references.
