A THEORETİCAL STUDY ON THE PERCEPTİON OF CONSERVATİVE THOUGHT THEMES: ISPARTA UNİVERSİTY OF APPLİED SCİENCES, SÜTÇÜLER PROF. DR. HASAN GÜRBÜZ VOCATİONAL SCHOOL STUDENTS EXAMPLE

Abstract

Conservatism, which developed as a counter-effect in the political and intellectual field with the French Revolution, is one of the concepts that we frequently encounter in our daily life in the world and in our country. Conservatism, which takes a stand for the protection of social values, gives importance to issues such as family, state, religion and property. The approaches of university students, who are expected to play a role in the future of our country, to conservative thought are important in terms of ensuring social continuity.

From this point of view, the study aims to measure university students' approaches to conservative thought themes. Conservative themes were determined in line with expert opinions and an evaluation scale was prepared. The target audience of the research is Isparta University of Applied Sciences, Sütçüler Prof. Dr. Hasan Gürbüz Vocational School students.  In the study, besides the evaluation of the general survey results, the subjects with high analysis value were determined among the subjects included in the conservative thought.
