Abstract

Social media is becoming an indispensable part of our lives every day. People are starting to live two different lives day by day, one in the virtual and the other in the physical world. With the confidence of invisibility and obscurity, people can introduce themselves differently than they are and this causes them to have the confidence that they can do what they want. As a result of this self-confidence, social media violence, as a new type of violence, started to affect people more than bullying and violence in the physical world and create more victims. This article examines violence in social media.
