Information For Librarians

Journal of Applied Science & Engineering Materials (JASEM) encourages research libraries and librarians to list this journal among their electronic holdings and academic databases.

  • Open Access & Discovery: JASEM is a peer-reviewed, diamond open-access publication. All articles are freely and permanently available without financial or administrative barriers. Metadata for all published issues is openly harvestable via standard protocols (OAI-PMH), facilitating seamless integration into library discovery services, institutional repositories, and national union catalogs.

  • Archiving & Preservation: The journal utilizes standard digital archiving systems (including LOCKSS and CLOCKSS, where supported by the platform) to ensure long-term preservation, permanent accessibility, and continuous restoration of all published scholarly content.

  • Licensing & Re-use: Published materials are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, allowing librarians, faculty, and students to freely archive, link, distribute, and integrate full-text articles into digital course reserves and open-educational resources.

  • Institutional Support: We invite academic librarians to recommend JASEM to faculty members, researchers, and graduate students in the physical, applied, and engineering sciences both as a trusted publication outlet and as a reliable, peer-reviewed reference source.
