Information For Authors

Journal of Applied Science & Engineering Materials (JASEM) welcomes original research articles, comprehensive reviews, short communications, and technical case studies across the physical, natural, and engineering sciences.

Authors submitting to JASEM must ensure their manuscripts adhere to the following principles prior to submission:

  • Originality & Ethical Compliance: Submissions must represent original, unpublished work that is not under simultaneous evaluation elsewhere. Authors must strictly adhere to internationally recognized publishing ethics (COPE guidelines). Plagiarism, data fabrication, and improper authorship attribution are strictly prohibited.

  • Double-Blind Peer Review: All submissions are subject to a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. Manuscripts must be thoroughly blinded prior to submission; author names, affiliations, email addresses, and explicit self-citations that reveal identity must be removed from the main manuscript file.

  • Language & Formatting: Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise, and academic English. Submissions must be formatted strictly according to the journal's official template and reference guidelines (APA 7th Edition).

  • Submission Requirements: During the online submission process, authors are required to upload:

    1. Blinded Manuscript File (Word format, strictly following the template)

    2. Title Page (with full author names, institutional affiliations, corresponding author details, and ORCID iDs)

    3. Copyright Agreement Form (signed by the corresponding author)

    4. Similarity / Plagiarism Report (e.g., Turnitin or iThenticate, excluding references)

    5. Ethics Committee Approval (if applicable to the study)

  • Publication Charges (APC): JASEM is committed to promoting global scientific exchange. There are no submission fees, no page fees, and no Article Processing Charges (APCs). Accepted manuscripts are published completely free of charge.
