Abstract

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the theses about “psychological well-being” between 2000 and 2020 by content analysis. In the study, the year, type, language, department of the thesis, the university in which it was written, the type of the university, the sample, the size of the sample, the scales used, the sampling method, the statistical methods used and the variables used lastly were examined. As a result of the findings, in 2019, the most theses were completed (n = 63; 42.0%), the theses were most frequently written in the master's degree (n=168;%83,1), the most in the psychology sciences (n = 60; 29,7% , 7); it was written most in Turkish (n = 185; 91.6%), more in public universities (n = 113; 55.9%), among the universities, it was written most in Marmara ve Üsküdar universities (n = 10; 5.0%), more quantitative methods were selected (n = 184; 91%), sample size range was in the range of 300-399 (n = 44; 21.8%), and university students were studied most (n = 48; 223.8%, 7), the most appropriate / easy method was chosen from the sample determination methods (n = 71; 35.1%), and the scale where reliability validity was used by Telef (2011,2013) developed by Diener et al. (2009; 2010) .(n=94; 46.5%), with the most survey method selected (n = 187; 92.6%), where correlation analysis is frequently performed (n = 172; 85.1%), finally, with positive psychology variables (n = 21; 5.5%) was studied.
